ExpressVPN is one of the largest and most trusted VPN providers in the world. I joined in 2019 leading a small team of designers. Within the five years I worked there we grew the team from just four to about 30 designers.

As a design manager, I looked after 10 designers in the marketing department in various disciples like motion design, UX, visual design and videography across four time zones and five countries.

I learned a lot about managing and growing a team during these years of working in a global tech company. At times it was a challenge with so many different nationalities, time zones and design fields, but it was very rewarding seeing my designers grow their careers and. generally become better designers.
